«We couldn't recommend Julia more! She made our dream destination wedding in the South of France a reality, and her flexibility and expertise were invaluable given the time difference. She accommodated to our schedule, suggesting multiple vendors and even reaching out to vendors outside her usual list, like our photographer, to ensure everything was perfect.
But what truly stood out was her professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. She was transparent with our budget and timeline, and always kept us informed every step of the way. She was responsive, always answering our WhatsApp messages, even at odd hours. She even went the extra mile to recommend places to explore while we were on vacation, making our trip even more special.
And when we needed a last-minute favor, she was there too – helping us find a nail salon for my bridal nails a day before the wedding! « After first meeting with Julia back in Spring 2023, we knew that she had something special about her compared to other wedding planners we’d spoken to. As a bilingual couple, it was essential that fluency in French & English was a must, and Julia exceeded our expectations in this. Julia really took the time to listen to our needs and to understand what our vision was for our wedding day. Nothing was impossible for Julia, she took every idea we had with a can do attitude.Our budget was defined early on in our discussions which made it easier for Julia to source vendors within our price range - and also to suggest multiple vendors so we had a variety of options to choose from.For the past year and a half, we would say that we’ve spoken to Julia almost every day, via our WhatsApp chat. Communication is where Julia really excelled for us! If we needed to do something, Julia would be on it to remind us. Not only was she there for us during discussions about information needed from our vendors, but also at the few times we became a little overwhelmed with wedding planning. She had become our wedding planner and therapist in one! 🌟 Julia was also present at most of the video calls we had with our vendors, regardless if she had worked with them before or not to ensure all our questions were answered. She also spoke with our bridesmaid & groomsmen to organise surprises for the day and managed to incorporate these surprises in without us knowing, even though we had the full itinerary for the day!Fast forward to our wedding day, it was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. Julia hit straight 10’s across the board for how she executed the day. We had a bit of an issue with the weather on the day meaning we had to move the evening dinner from outside to inside. Julia and her team somehow managed to create our vision in a completely different space, and made it 10x better than we ever thought was possible. « Julia did such a wonder for us in bringing our vision for a beautiful day together, it felt like all we had to do was bring our party attitude to enjoy it! She was very communicative the whole way through planning, understanding the importance of staying ahead and that some things take time as well. She recommended many of our vendors we ended up using and they delivered as well, which was very helpful being across the globe as we were not able to sample in person. We learned we could trust Julia and her judgment and she took a huge load off our plates in the details and language difference since we did not speak French, but her English skills bridged the gap.
We felt like we had a French friend to help us dream up our wedding in France, and enjoyed the whole experience up to the day itself. We loved it. And our guests did too, they can’t stop talking about what an amazing experience they had at our wedding.
